Hello, all,

As a newly published author, I'm still finding my way around the Internet.  Can you believe it took me two days and three tries to actually post a blog?  I'm Bonnie McCune, my book is "A Saint Comes Stumbling In," published by Inspired Romance Novels.  Although the book is newly published, I've been writing all my life AND trying to get a novel out there for at least 20.  I'm fascinated by the ins and outs of the romance genre and the wealth of websites and blogs devoted to the genre.

As for romance, I consider myself to be a practical, down-to-earth person, although in one corner of my heart, I'm an optimist.  I wonder about the attraction of romances to so many people--I don't think it's simply the love story.  But perhaps people today are hungry for happy endings, for situations in which their decisions have an impact for the better on their own lives and on others.

I'd love to hear from people about their thoughts on romance's popularity.

My next effort will be a novelette set around Valentine's Day and starring a single mother with a soccer-mad son.

I'm doubtful I'll be able to figure out how to put a photo or image on this post, so if you want to know more about me and my work, visit www.BonnieMcCune.com
