Yeah, I said summer. Here in Arizona, that's what we've still got with temps in the 100's daily.
Sometimes, I really think it would be great to live in a place that had, gasp, actual seasons. You know, the leaves turning colors as the weather cools down, then turns freezing and snowy... Oh yeah. That's why I live here.
Maybe, though, that's why most of my stories take place in small mountain towns.
That's the only place I've had experience with some sort of seasons.
But it's not just the heat dragging the blues.
It's the schedule.
My kids reminded me I'd told them we could talk about Halloween costumes when it was October.
Guess what they wanted to talk about all day Saturday?
I can't believe it's October already.
The means soon to be Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and all the other holidays.
Wow. Where did time go?

Do you have a favorite type of setting to read about? City, small town, exotic locations?

I don't have any favorite locations. While locations do add to the story, I find the interaction between characters matters most.
