The Lucky Lady has a new look

By Janet Quinn

The Lucky Lady has a new look. It has a sexy new cover and will be up at Amazon Kindle tomorrow or Wednesday, so check it out. Lila Kane is a seamstress and Carter Hawkins is a saloon owner. It is the gambler and the seamstress. Except everyone has a secret. No one is really whom they seem to be. Then there is the blackmailer who finds out the secrets and threatens Lila’s new life. Carter, who has allowed Lila to steal his heart, has kept Lila at arm’s length so at not to ruin her reputation. Now, he must worry about her life more than her reputation.

The Lucky Lady is a western romance set in 1870 Colorado in a small city filled with fun characters. There are those ladies who want the best new designs in dresses that Lila has to offer. There is Janette who is having a coming out party and must have only the best for her and her friends. Carter’s saloon girls are a lively bunch who add laughter and despair to the book.

I have changed projects since last month. I dug out an old western, historical, time-travel romance. Turner and his son Jeremy get lost in the wilderness and end up back in time on a horse ranch in 1875. Turner lives in the city and knows nothing about horses. Rebecca is trying to meet her contract with the Cavalry for the horses her father promised. Unfortunately, her father was killed in an accident two weeks earlier. Now she has no hands to help break the horses and two green-horns who have nowhere to go. I am on chapter 5 and it is moving along quickly. It will be a fun book filled with triumphs and disasters. It will also be filled with love.
