I have just put A Moment In Time, my pirate, time-travel romance up on Kindle with a new cover. Eric, a New York lawyer, falls overboard from his yacht and finds himself in the late 1600’s aboard Felicity’s pirate ship. At first he thinks he has died and gone to heaven, but then discovers he has changed times. Felicity steals his heart while someone tries to steal her life. There is love, adventure, happiness and despair. And of course, pirates. It is truly a fun book.
I’m finding that self-publishing my older books on Kindle is turning out to be a pretty good idea. I am making money off of them again and there are plenty of readers out there.
I also have put up some of my character short stories. I write a short story about each of my main characters in my books. The short stories tell how they ended up coming together at the beginning of the book. They are fun short pieces.
The animals are trying to make me crazy. Chewbaca, the dog, is still trying to let Count Rugen, the kitten, out so he will run away from home. It could have something to do with the fact that Rugen is constantly jumping on Chewbaca. He likes to ambush the dog while the dog is sleeping. He will jump on his face, then shoot off. Rugen is a bit suicidal.
Rugen also has it out for me. He zooms around so fast that I cannot always keep track of him. He shot out from behind a chair as I was walking past. He clipped my foot as I raised it to take a step and I ended up on the floor. I have carpet burns and bruises on my knee. I am also walking a little slower.
I will be putting up new books at Kindle over the next few months, so keep an eye out for them. One will be a middle reader, historical time-travel for fourth to sixth graders.
Summer is going quickly and I hope everyone is enjoying it.
