I'm a huge fan of the zombie genre but if I mention that to a fellow romance reader or author, mostly I'm told they aren't. Why? Most think if you're talking zombies that means either your hero or heroine is a zombie. Well, I've seen that storyline work actually. But for me, the zombie apocalypse provides a world where new types of bonds and relationships between surviving humans can grow.
And what if you had a family man who'd been in the military, who had access to certain classified files, who sort of knew it all was coming? His nephews all came to visit each year and he showed them survival skills, tried to get them ready for what he seemed to know would come eventually. This man is Uncle Larry. He lives on Dusty Mile and this series focuses on his nephews as they try to survive on their way to Uncle Larry -- and the lovers they meet on the way.

Coming in October! Dusty Mile Survival Guide: Fun in the Garden
The survival guide is a supplemental series to accompany my Dusty Mile series at Changeling Press. It's not necessary to read the Survival Guide series to get the main story. It's meant to be some extra fun with the characters. The Survival Guide series will all be "Hot Flashes" at Changeling (if they want them LOL). Cheap reads, lots of fun.
