If it ain't one thing, it's another!
Believe me, I'm not complaining -- we never had to put our house on the market. Word of mouth sold our house, and it truly is a blessing. Our house is problematic in some ways: small lot, heavily landscaped, no room for kids, not updated inside (still the original 1950s bathroom tile), with an attached one-car garage and a detached 2-car garage that was converted to an artist's studio.

That's what sold the house, you see -- the studio. Long story short: someone wanted the studio. So we didn't have to put the house on the market. But we have had to drop everything and do a few repairs, etc., to prep for the inspection. Plus there's the house we bought 300 miles away that we're dealing with (papers to sign, inspections to be done, etc.)
And right in the middle of all this I have a 3-book series releasing: one in April, one in May, and one in June. Which means I've barely had time to notice the books are out, much less promote them.

So consider this my May promotion for the Deadly Landscape series: 3 books about Cassie Whittington, a 50-something woman who starts a new career in horticulture only to be derailed by a murder in a greenhouse, a sexy new boss, an inheritance, and an ex-husband who still loves her.
See my web site for all the details (jayellwilson.com). I promise you some fun reading, a good mystery, and a heroine you'll love. Plus some great gardening tips, and who can't use those at this time of year?
Enjoy!
