I Am Finally Writing

I am finally back to writing and have finished the first chapter for my alternate universe romance. The hero and heroine are together in the magical universe. I am not really sure what they are going to do next. I’m taking it to plot group with me on Friday to see if the group can give me some help.

My first granddaughter is due in a month. I think the parents have everything ready. The nursery is beautiful. I got to help decorate. It is lavender and pink with very nice dark furniture. I have nearly finished the blanket I am crocheting for her. It is multicolored with lavender and pink stripes. I am down to the last row on the edging. It is a good thing since I want to give it to my son and his wife on Easter. I would like them to have it before the baby gets here. I am also on call Monday and Wednesday evenings in case my daughter-in-law goes into labor during one of her classes. I am much closer than her husband, so I get to go get her and take her home if that happens.

Now that I am working from home I have started cleaning out. It is amazing how much stuff can be collected. All of my sons and I have “stuff” that has not been used in years and probably never will be. Getting them to part with anything is difficult. Sometimes I’m not much better. My youngest is helping with the garage each week. He made two runs to the Good Will last week. There is still more to go. At least we can get into the garage now.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter. I am fixing dinner for my family. My daughter-in-law wanted home-cooked turkey.
