Men of Alaska

The name Alaska alone would get me to pick up the book and check it out, especially if it’s a romance. Now, picture a rustic cabin in the mountains, surrounded by tall pines, wildlife, and isolated from the rest of the world…two strangers forced to find survival (like warmth) in each other’s arms. Okay, they weren’t exactly forced but they sure didn’t fight the attraction either. Does any of that peak your interest into checking it out more?

There’s something about Alaska that reaches out to us. It’s romantic, mysterious and evokes inspiration. The untamed wilderness of it all. Snow capped mountains and water falls, the culture and legends of the people. Alaska was where I cruised for the first time, and I plan to go again. I went with my daughter and niece.

The picture shows some of the adventures the girls talked me into. We took a helicopter to an isolated glacier, went dog sledding, and took a go-cart ride into the wilderness.

My next full length release, Someone to Love Me, takes place in Alaska. You will be able to find it in the Men of Alaska series at Whiskey Creek Press Torrid in March. This was first released in ebook form with another publisher some years ago, and has since gone through quite a revision for re-release. New spicy content was added.

Here’s a little blurb:
When Charlie’s plane goes down in the remote Alaskan wilderness she knows she’s in big trouble. She didn’t have time to radio in her position. So it looks like her decision to surprise her parents on their wedding anniversary wasn’t such a good idea. Now lost and in freezing temperatures, her chances of survival look bleak.

As Charlie heads out on foot, she faces a new danger when a white wolf appears. And right behind him is her salvation. A quiet mountain man with secrets, who takes her to his one-room cabin, where she finds herself stranded for the winter. To make matters worse, there’s an instant attraction between them they both try to resist.

Hard to do when she’s sleeping in his bed! Before long they give into a temptation stronger than their wills, and find survival, and the chance to love again, in each other’s arms.

I also have a Quickie coming out with Ellora’s Cave, no release date yet, also set in Alaska. Be looking for Her Hands-on Man sometime this year.

My books are offered on the publisher’s websites, All Romance eBooks, Fictionwise, Barnes and Nobles, and Amazon.

We've been to Alaska--Hubster had a meeting in Fairbanks, and we extended it to a vacation including a Love Boat Cruise. It's a fantastic place.
