This year I am making New Year's Goals not resolutions. I don't know about you but I rarely keep my resolutions. But goals, those I can measure. Those I can take steps to achieve. Here are my goals for the New Year:
Develop better time management
Develop better money management
Develop better home management
Now that I have chosen my 2011 goals the question is how do I achieve them? There is no easy answer for that. I don't know 100% of the journey. I mean honesty there is no yellow brick road to success. If there was I would have found it. Okay back to goals.
Time Management: I have gotten a calendar and am going to do my best to follow a schedule of writing, reading, and family activities. This is something I can measure and I will instantly know if I need to readjust my priorities.
Money management: I need to stop shopping. Instead I need to spend money when I have to not just because I want to. This is going to be hard because I am the Queen of Deals. I find the best stuff and keep it for up to a year to use. I shop for my sons a year in advance. I write and work full time so I buy what I want when I want. That needs to change.
Home Management: I really want to stop washing clothes every night. I mean sometimes I am up to 1am trying to get that last load into the dryer....I know I can't be the only one. Please don't let me be the only one!?!
I figure if I can get myself into a routine and at least halfway clear up my management issues then I will have tons of time to read and write more. LOL. But seriously I figure if I can get into a routine that clears of some of my stress and timing issues I will be ahead of the game.
What are your New Year's Goals?

I need to get my computer materials better organized. I spend too much time on the net. I also need to get more sleep
