A Picture

I was looking through my photo album. As I flipped each photo it brought back what happened when the picture was taken. It was memories of my life. I thought of what I was feeling, what was happening and what happened next. When I finished with the album I sat and thought about it some more.

This is what is portrayed in books. What the writer is trying to get across. A picture into the life of the characters. Books should give you a picture in your mind that you can visualize like you are there. You are living it. If this happened when you read it is fulfilling.

I love that when I read. There have been many books that make that happen for me. Those are the one I remember. The ones I go back to and reread often. Because they filled various emotions. They are the ones that a scene from the story pops onto my thoughts at random times. The ones that make me go to read the book so I can read the stories again. The pictures they create live with me for a long time.
