Made It!

It took forever, three attempts and two wrong passwords, but I made it. This is my first attempt at this sort of thing so I hope the thousands and thousands and thousands of people who show up will be patient.

I'm Ruth Sims. I have two published novels--The Phoenix (Lethe Press, 2009) and Counterpoint: Dylan's Story (Dreamspinner Press) 2010. I also have four e-book short pieces from Untreed Reads. More about them later. I'm an old broad with either two kids and one husband or vice versa. After a half century I don't remember which it is.

My first post is going to be in two parts because it's kind of long. And even though I want mainly to chat up my new book Counterpoint: Dylan's Story, I'm going to start out with what I think is an interesting true story about a story. It's titled: How to Turn A Straight Civil War Story Into a Gay Victorian Romance In Just Twenty Years. If you've heard it before, be patient. There will be new stuff anon.
