Sam’s story, Freedom’s Treasure, is due out in a few days. I spent the Memorial Day weekend reading the galley so it could go to press. I didn’t find very many mistakes, but I always have the urge to rewrite parts. That is so not allowed. By Monday evening, I had eyestrain.
Launching a new book is always exciting, but there is always so much to do. Ads need to be placed. People need to be notified. I want the whole world to know the book is available. That will be this weekend’s job.
Also, I will be having a contest to launch Freedom’s Treasure, a historical romance. I will be giving away prizes that include two short stories. One is about Sam and the other about Jubilee before they met. Sam’s is done. Jubilee’s – not so much. I will be writing like crazy on that one. Once all of this is done, I am off to the next project. I really have to get writing. I just haven’t gotten as much done this year as I wanted because of my back and the pain.
