Freedom's Treasure - Historical Romance - Coming June 2010

Freedom’s Treasure comes out in June. I am so excited. This is book number 13 and when I was writing it, it seemed like the never ending book. I talked a great deal about Sam’s story and Sam being stuck here and stuck there as I got sidetracked. Now Sam is going to be released.

I got the cover and I just looked at it for a moment and thought, “That’s not Sam.” No, it is Jubilee. She is the other half of the story and the one that leads Sam into trouble along the way. My boss looked at the cover with the same expression I had. I’ve always talked about Sam and not Jubilee. She is important to the story. Without her, there wouldn’t be a story.

I’m excited that the book is finally coming out. I have the edits, which I will finish this weekend. Then I will have to read the galley and it will be done.

My editor sent me the edits and said she really loved the book and I should write a third one with the same family. Those in Arkansas could go to visit Sam and Jubilee. I’ll have to wait for Megan to grow up. She’s only ten in Freedom’s Treasure and everyone else is married off. A third story might happen.
