Dude, where's my muse!?

Today I decided to talk about the most hated and most prized possession of a writer: their muse. Me and my muse have a funky relationship. I call my muse George. I know what you’re thinking, who names their muse? Are you crazy!? To answer your questions I’m the only person I know who named their muse and yes I’m a little crazy. But my medication is working quite nicely. Back to George. He goes weeks without talking to me. I whisper sweet nothings in his ear and still nothing. Then every so often George taps me on the shoulder to get my attention then just looks the other way. He mostly wants to work when I want to sleep. Since I have deadlines we’ve reached a compromise: If he’ll talk to me while I’m writing I’ll stroke his ego by telling him how great he is and how much I appreciate him. It’s not much but I’ll take what I can get. Muses, can’t live with ‘em can’t write hot romances without ‘em!
