Is everlasting love a folktale we keep alive because we want to believe in true love?

Good morning, I'm excited to be here! Thank you, The Romance Studio, for nominating my book, The Watcher, for the CAPA. You have given me a great honor.

Many fabulous works are being published every day, so I feel privileged your review staff enjoyed my story of true love.

I want to thank romance readers for purchasing The Watcher and for your positive comments. Three bits of wisdom: Love conquers all, The Watcher; a person must Believe in the magic of love to receive and give love, Believe; and Hope needs to be present in order to believe that love conquers all, Melody's Song.

The Watcher
Museum curator, Emily Lucent, specializes in ancient Scottish swords. When she hears a highland voice calling to her, she falls in love with the disembodied spirit seven days before her wedding.

Part of the Guardian Angel squad, Netzach is her watcher. He loves Emily desperately, and defies his deities to have her.

Her fiancé, Jon Hart, M.D., serves evil. He spouts words of love until Emily agrees to marry him. She wants out of the engagement, he wouldn’t release her. Vengeance and anger took him to Scotland.

Will Emily survive Jon’s sharp blade and be reunited with her watcher? Can love, true love, survive centuries?

What do you think?
Soul mates...everlasting love... is this a folktale we keep alive because we want to believe in true love?

Yes congratulations. I believe in soulmates and everlasting love. A few of my aunts and uncles have been married for over fifty years. So yes it is possible and not just a folktale.

Thank you, Ameliar! I'm tingling with excitement over your comments.

I love your name...I'm thinking Ameliar should be a heroine in a future novel. What do you think?

I've read The Watcher and Believe and they are very good. LOL I guess I need Melody's Song now!!!

The Watcher is very deserving of your nomination. Congratulations!!!

I do believe in soul mates and eternal love...maybe because I want to but there are relationships out there that support that belief!!

Oh, Steph b... I thank you! You made my Valentine's Day rose colored.
I hope you have a fabulous day filled with love and kindness.

Melody's Song should be out this spring. Look for it at Cobblestone-Press.com. It's a wonderful story about self-doubt, having hope, and ultimately--love.

Not a folktale, a reality!

Fabulous cover and I love the premise! True Love can never really die and I think that's why some many believe in it.

Best of luck on winning!

Stephanie,
Thank you for your comments. I love the cover too, Croco designed it (www.crocodesigns.com) and the other two covers as well, Believe, and Melody's Song.

So, you're saying true love can last centuries until the two souls find each other again?

Thanks Amy S...if you think this sounds very good, you should read Believe and Melody's Song...they are excellent. Exciting, character driven with suspenseful plots, and the ending...well I can't give that away, but you will see happy-ever-after.

I love your logon name..

I agree with you. Believing in love is easy, it's finding the soul mate that's more challenging. Best wishes to you.
